WaCo Inclement Weather Response
Washington County Operations manages roads through out unincorporated areas as well as within City limits with several partner jurisdictions. Their map provides routes for Ice control and Snow removal.
Local Snow / Inclement Weather Operations
Many of the Agencies within the Metro area perform their own snow removal and ice control. Links for specific agencies are below.
Sandbags
Several jurisdictions within the area provide sandbags free to residents. This is intended to provide assistance for flood control if needed. These are self service and not staffed by public agencies. Contact individual agency for more information.
CEU’s & training opportunities
The best resource for the most up to date training information can be found at the Oregon Environmental Services Advisory Council (OESAC). Their calendar provides up to date information in available training as well as which training’s are eligible for specific CEU requirements.
Several groups provide online training year round that can help with last minute training needs. Please verify CEU availability before signing up for classes.
